Karen Burniston's Snippets Collection!!! (And Pop 'n Cuts House Card)

Yesterday some very HAPPY POST arrived!! Karen Burniston's entire new Snippets Collection!!
Ever since I first saw pictures of the new Pop 'n Cuts 3-D House insert, I've been itching to play with it, and this evening I finally had the chance to make a card! I used the A2 Pop 'n Cuts Base, with the new 3-D House insert, and used pieces cut with the accompanying Thinlits House set... they are SO cute, and really easy to use.
So much loveliness! Thank you Karen!!
I didn't actually use the house piece from the Thinlits set, but cut a couple of extra layers using the House insert die. I also made a narrow side window, by cutting down a window and window sill pieces.
I wanted to make a kind of gingerbread style house, with white icing (using Liquid Pearls). Unfortunately, I dropped the house while it was still wet, so my 'icing' spots got a bit blurred!
The paper is from First Edition's 'Nordic Christmas', and for the red border I used a Thinlit die from Karen's new 'Banners and Borders' set. I really love this swirly one!
I also used two dies from the 'Sassy Labels & Stitched Frames' Framelits set, for the sentiment. One of them just adds the stitches - a fab look!
Can't wait to play more with the Snippets Collection very soon!

(Update: If you would like to see another gingerbread house card of mine, using more current products, it is here.)
