Woven Basket Box Card

I love the Woven Basket Box Pop-Up die set from Karen Burniston's new release, which I used to make this card. The set includes all the flower and foliage dies too.

The die set comes with a grass piece which is cut multiple times and attached to the insides of the basket, and acts as a platform for the flowers.

The card folds down flat to fit inside an envelope.

All the patterned papers I used are from Basic Grey's 'Lucille' 6x6 pad. I added ribbon to the basket handles, and used the Crosshatch Ovals and 'hello' from Word Set 6 - Summer die set.

Hearts Pivot Panel Tag Book Pop-Up Card

In case you didn't already know, Karen Burniston has a fantastic new release of dies on their way!! (They are available for pre-order now, and will be released on 31st January.)

I made this Valentine card using the new Heart Pivot Panels, inside Tag Book Pop-Up dies.
I love how the Pivot Panel range of dies can fit inside the Tag Book Pop-Up (or the new Circle Tag Book Pop-Up), the Twist Panel Pop-up, or any plain card base you choose!

The patterned papers are all from First Edition's 'Wanderlust' 12x12 pad.
All of the hearts and stitched hearts come with the Heart Pivots Pane die set. I also used Crosshatch Oval dies to make little panels to write on.

Here's a view from above to show the mechanism of the card. The pivoting hearts part of the card fits really easily onto your chosen card base.

On the card front, I used a couple of Crosshatch Rectangle dies, and the 'love you' die from Karen's new Word Set 9 - Love set.

Karen Burniston Circle Charm Pop-Up Happy New Year Card

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

It's Karen Burniston's Design Team Challenge today, with the theme of 'New' - to try something new to us. I decided to set myself the challenge of relying mainly on rubber stamps to decorate my card - not a new thing for many, but definitely for me, who usually relies heavily on patterned papers and dies.

I used the Circle Charm Pop-up die set for the card base, and made a patterned background using Stampin' Up's 'Dotty Angles' set with Broken China Distress Oxide ink, overlaid with Heidi Swapp's Gold Color Shine spray.
I stamped the 2019 with Stampin' Up's 'Number of Years' set. I hand cut the numbers, and used the accompanying dies for gold cardstock shadows.
The Happy is cut from Karen Burniston's Happy Birthday die.

For the card front, I created the same patterned background, and used a stamp from Concord & 9th's 'Rainbow Wishes' set for the sentiment.

For finishing touches inside the card, I added some bunting flags in the top left-hand corner, and a pair of balloons, one using a stamp from Stampin' Up's 'Balloon Bash' set, to the right-hand corner.
