Circle Charm & Carta Bella Flora No.2 Pop Up Card

I absolutely love Carta Bella's Flora Paper Collections, both No's 1 & 2, and this card uses the No 2 12x12 set, along with Karen Burniston's great new Circle Charm Pop Up die set.
I used a metallic gray cardstock for the card base, and covered the insides and outside with patterned paper panels.
I used a sticker from the Flora No 2 12x12 set on the left hand side of the card, and a stamp from Reverse Confetti's 'Circle Wishes' set for the sentiment.

On the first floating panel I used a heart which comes with the Circle Charms set (as do all the other circle dies I used on the card), and for the centre panel, I used a clear acetate circle trapped between the original panel, and an extra die cut rim. I then stuck some hand cut bunting flags onto the acetate with adhesive mini foam pads.

The card front is similar, just with some ribbon and a button glued on.

Karen Burniston & Darkroom Door Blog Hop Card

Hi everyone! I'm really happy to be taking part in a Blog Hop today, where I as well as the rest of Karen Burniston's Design Team are joining forces with the lovely people at Darkroom Door, to bring you a wide range of projects made with products from both companies.
I adore Karen's clever and original die designs, and teamed with the fabulous stamps you can find at Darkroom Door, there's a lot of crafting fun to be had!

For my card I used Karen's House & Fence Pop-up die set to create the pop-up mechanisms, along with Darkroom Door's Carved Caravans stamp set.
I love all the stamps which come in this set, and the base of the House & Fence Pop-up die set is perfect for attaching elements to.

So! For the blog hop, both Darkroom Door and Karen Burniston will be giving away prize packs, with winners randomly chosen from ALL of the blog hop comments received by Sunday, July 29th, 2018. Lots of chances to win some goodies, so just leave a comment on this post or any other blog hop post to enter!

Here are all the Blog Hop participants:

I hope you enjoy the inspiration!

Now for a few more details about the card...

I used the Tim Holtz Stamp Platform along with Distress Markers to colour in the different parts of each stamp. The stamp platform was vital, as I needed to add a few layers of Distress Marker for the colour to build up enough. I hand cut out the stamped elements and used a combination of glue in a Fineline bottle, and mini adhesive foam pads to adhere them to the pop-up parts of the card base.

I used the cloud edge from the Nature Edges die set, for the sky background, and a 'hello' die from the Word Set 6 - Summer set.

The card front is just kept really simple, with space for a message, more stamps from the Caravan set, and circles from the Circles - Crosshatch die set.

Karen Burniston Design Team July Challenge - 'Sweet Summer' Circle Charm Pop-Up Card

Hi everyone, I have a very pink card to share with you today, for Karen Burniston's Design Team 'Sweet Summer' Challenge!

My card uses the lovely generic Circle Charm Pop-up card die set.
I covered the back of the central circle with acetate, to attach the flamingo to, and also cut a circle in the back of the card, so that all three panels would be windows.

I used dies from Karen's Beach Charms and Sweet Treats Charms die sets to decorate the card with - these die sets are just so cute!!
I double cut the flip flops to make the heel part of the charm, and for each of the charms I added a section of glitter card, which I shaded with darker pink Copic marker pen.
The patterned paper is from American Crafts Dear Lizzie 'Fine and Dandy' 12x12 pad.

For the card front, I used the palm tree from the Beach Charms die set, words from the Word Set 6 - Summer die set, and flowers from the Flowers and Bee die set.
